What if I don’t know how much work I’ll have for an athletic trainer?
No problem! When you first contact us, we’ll learn more about your organization to determine how much you’ll likely be using your athletic trainer. We identify your specific medical staffing needs based on factors like the number of people that will be under your AT's care, your schedule, the physical demands your entertainers and crew face, the rate of injury entertainers and crew like yours experience, the treatment and rehabilitation demands for injuries experienced by entertainers in your discipline, the potential for catastrophic injury, and the amount of recurring administrative duties the AT must perform.
What’s included?
When you hire us to handle your entertainment medicine needs, you receive:
Some agreements warrant additional athletic trainers and/or supplies.
- A Medical Services Coordinator as your consistent point of contact with Backstage ArTs. This seasoned entertainment medicine professional is your managerial liaison, oversees all of the services we provide you, and supervises your AT. Your Medical Services Coordinator conducts an on-site annual review to ensure that we’re still exceeding all of your expectations.
- An arts & entertainment athletic trainer who provides a variety of injury care services, creates and implements injury risk reduction programming, and performs emergency preparation duties. Working up to 40 hours per week, you and your Medical Services Coordinator will determine the exact job duties and expectations for your AT.
- Therapeutic treatment equipment and first aid supplies custom selected to best suit your needs and circumstances
